I want to become an actor, I am 23 years old, & acting has been a passion of mine since i was young. I never got the chance to take any classes, because of work and school. I did take a short term acting class, and my teacher said i had great potential. I am stuck trying to figure out, how i will handle my schedule, How i will work to save money, train in Mixed martial arts Or maybe i should take a break from it, when i start acting. I want to hopefully get married sometime in the next 2 - 4 years. so there is a lot of things going through my head right now, Not to mention, there is also studying acting, at a college, or acting school. I am having a hard time trying to process all this information, what should i do ?? Do your best to answer as many questions as possible. SO HERE IS MY QUESTIONS: 1 - Is 23 years old too late for me to study and become an actor 2 - What are the steps to becoming a successful actor, what do i have to do. 3 - I reside in Sacramento California, will i have to move out, to a major city ? 4 - Should i study the craft of acting, before i make a decision to move to a major city ? 5 - Besides Los Angeles, is there any other major city's for me to move to for acting ? 6 - I heard San Francisco might be another one, its much closer to Sacramento, is that correct ? 7 - How long will it take for me to learn acting from acting classes. 8 - Should i study theater arts, or Acting. What are the difference between this 2 ? 9 - How long should i study theater arts, or acting ? 10 - Is it better to get an Associates OR a Bachelors degree in theater arts ? 11 - Should i go study at a College, University, or go to a acting school ? ANY OTHER INFORMATION YOU CAN GIVE ME, WILL GREATLY BE APPRECIATED.... Read More »
